Objective: To determine the relationship between periodontal status and C-reactive protein (CRP) levels in pregnant women at the Viñani Health Center in Tacna during the year 2022. Materials and Methods: A quantitative, relational, non-experimental, and cross sectional study was conducted with a sample of 145 pregnant women. The technique used was direct observation and the recording of medical records using a data collection form that included: age, trimester of pregnancy, Russell's Periodontal Index, and CRP values. The population consisted of 230 pregnant women, and a sample of 145 was obtained using simple random probabilistic sampling. To determine the correlation between the variables, the non parametric statistical test Chi-square of Pearson was used. Results: 85.7% of the pregnant women had normal periodontal health and CRP levels. In contrast, only 73.5% of pregnant women with gingivitis had elevated CRP, while 10% had normal CRP and 26.5% of pregnant women with periodontitis had elevated CRP and 3.6% had normal CRP. Conclusion: A significant relationship was found between periodontal status and C-reactive protein (CRP) levels in pregnant women at the Viñani Health Center in Tacna during the year 2022
