Abstract

Identifying anatomical variations poses a genuine challenge for professionals performing endodontic treatments, regardless of the teeth  being treated. The degree of curvature stands out as a crucial variable that could result in instrument fracture. In clinical situations, two curves may be found within the same root canal. A case is presented of a 33-year-old female patient who sought treatment due to moderate pain to cold stimuli without the presence of periodontal pockets. Upper premolars constitute approximately 15.8% to 21.5% of all teeth undergoing endodontic treatment, and the prevalence of this S-shaped canal is found in 10.6% of permanent teeth. These teeth are thought to be challenging for endodontic treatment due to their various variations. The
practice of endodontics is a complex and challenging discipline that combines science and art. Clinical experience will demonstrate various approaches that have been successful during a procedure.
