Focus and Scope
The Medical Journal (Tacna Online), also known as the Medical Journal of the Hipólito Unanue Hospital of Tacna (ISSN 2617-7803), focuses primarily on disseminating original scientific research, systematic reviews, and case reports in the field of health sciences. Its objective is to contribute to the development of scientific knowledge, strengthen evidence-based clinical practice, and promote the continuous improvement of health services.
Its scope is multidisciplinary, encompassing areas such as medicine, nursing, obstetrics, dentistry, pharmacy, and other related disciplines. The journal is aimed at health professionals, researchers, professors, and students at the national and international levels, promoting academic and scientific exchange. It also prioritizes studies that address regional and national health issues, without limiting the inclusion of relevant contributions from the global scientific community.
