Authors who publish in the Medical Journal of the Hipólito Unanue Hospital of Tacna agree to the following terms:
- Authors retain the rights to their work, including all digital objects that may result from subsequent electronic publication and distribution.
- Upon acceptance of the work, authors grant the journal the right to first publication.
- Additionally, authors grant the journal and its agents a non-exclusive, permanent license to publish, archive, and make the work available, in whole or in part, in any current or future media formats, under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 license (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/deed.en).
Open access
The journal provides immediate open access to all of its content.
Fees
The Medical Journal of the Hipólito Unanue Hospital of Tacna does not charge fees for the submission, evaluation, review, publication, distribution, or download of articles.

Promotion and article dissemination
The journal encourages authors to actively promote their manuscript once published, as well as the journal as a whole.
