Job Satisfaction of Nursing Staff at Hipolito Unanue Hospital of Tacna - Perú, 2024

Objective: To determine the job satisfaction of nursing staff at Hipólito Unanue Hospital in Tacna, 2024. Material and methods: This was a quantitative, non-experimental, applied, descriptive, and crosssectional study. The sample consisted of 219 nursing professionals and technicians. A survey technique was used, and results were obtained through the application of a validated instrument. Results: Overall, 71.7% of the staff showed medium levels of job satisfaction, followed by 28.3% with high levels. When analyzing specific dimensions, 50.2% reported medium satisfaction with the work environment, while 55.7% achieved high satisfaction in the remuneration and/or incentives dimension. Regarding interpersonal relationships, 52.5% expressed levels of job satisfaction. Conclusion: The predominant level of job satisfaction among the nursing staff at Hipólito Unanue Hospital in Tacna is medium.
