Abstract

Objective: To determine the relationship between social skills and risk behaviors in adolescents at I.E. Jorge Chávez in the city of Tacna in 2020. Materials and Methods: A quantitative, non-experimental, descriptive, and correlational study of a cross-sectional type was conducted, as data were analyzed from the variables collected at a specific time in the corresponding population. Regarding the dimensions of social skills, 44.5% of adolescents presented a high level of assertiveness, 25% an average level of communication, 29.1% an average level of self-esteem, and 22.3% an average level of decision-making.
