About the Conference Proceedings Series

The Revista Médica del Hospital Hipólito Unanue de Tacna is a scientific platform dedicated to disseminating research in the fields of medicine and public health, featuring work by professionals from the Tacna (Peru) region and invited contributors. The goal of these studies is to enhance knowledge in health and contribute with research that helps reduce morbidity and mortality in the population.

The journal publishes original works, including research articles, reviews, case reports, and letters to the editor. All submissions undergo a rigorous evaluation process by a committee of research experts, who select those that meet publication standards and achieve an adequate rating.

The Revista Médica is published biannually and adheres to the guidelines established at the Second World Conference on Research Integrity (Singapore 2010). The opinions expressed in the articles are solely the responsibility of the authors.
