Objective: To establish the prevalence of depression, anxiety and post-traumatic stress after the COVID-19 pandemic in health personnel at a public hospital in southern Peru. Materials and Methods: Descriptive, crosssectional study in 188 workers at Hospital II Moquegua EsSalud. The sample was selected using a finite population formula, with a confidence level of 95% and a margin of error of 5%. Three validated instruments were used to collect data: the PHQ-9 to assess depression, the GAD-7 for anxiety, and the EIE-R for posttraumatic stress. The data obtained were analyzed using SPSS software. Results: 45.21% of the staff experienced symptoms of depression, distributed at mild (22.34%), moderate (15.96%) and, to a lesser extent, moderately severe and severe levels. Regarding anxiety, 46.81% of those surveyed presented symptoms, with a predominance of mild (25.53%) and moderate (17.02%) levels. In relation to post-traumatic stress, 53.2% reported symptoms, mainly at mild (35.11%) and moderate (13.3%) levels. Conclusions: The results suggest that a considerable proportion of health personnel still face symptoms of mental disorders after the COVID-19 pandemic, highlighting the prevalence of post-traumatic stress in more than half of those surveyed. This highlights the need to implement support and monitoring strategies to address this problem and mitigate its effects on the quality of life of affected personnel.
